Foundation Certificate in Higher Education

The Foundation Certificate in Higher Education is designed specially for students who do not meet the entry criteria for degree programmes. The programme offers the opportunity for students to develop & increase the essential knowledge and skill levels to succeed at under graduate levels. On completion of the programme students may proceed directly to Year 1 of a Degree programme.

Course Overview

The programme will give you the right skills and knowledge in Communication, English, Computing and/or Business to be able to proceed towards undergraduate studies.

Minimum of 6 passes in the Local GCE Ordinary Level examination with Credit passes in English & Mathematics.

OR

Minimum of 5 passes in the London GCE Ordinary Level examination with Credit passes in English & Mathematics.

The programme is delivered in two stages which comprises of a set of core and optional modules. Students may choose the optional modules of their choice.

Optional Modules
• Business Accounting
• Digital Circuits and Logic Design
• Group Project
• Business Management

Upon successful completion of the programme students may enter the year 1 of the following degree programmes,
BEng (Hons) Software Engineering
BSc (Hons) Computer Science
BSc (Hons) Information Systems with Business Management
