An MBA is a clear endorsement of commitment to your own development, and is a globally recognised qualification that will improve your marketability and career progression prospects. This MBA is designed for professionals with at least 2 years work experience in a management role.
We seek applications from high-calibre graduates who provide evidence of a good honours degree in any subjects (a minimum of a second class or equivalent) and who can demonstrate the potential to benefit from, and contribute to, the programme. Candidates without prior work experience are welcome to apply, and each application will be considered on its merits. All overseas students must be able to reason / express arguments in a business context and have achieved an IELTS grading of at least 6.5 in written and spoken English.
The award of the MBA is dependent on the successful completion of seven taught modules, and completion of a Management Dissertation, all at level 7. The seven taught modules include six core modules plus one optional module, with each module worth 20 credits, and the Dissertation is 40 credits. Research methods will run throughout the taught part of the programme.
The programme conforms to the University's general regulations and conventions for Postgraduate Study. Assessment will include a combination of practical and written assignments and presentations. Each 20 credit taught module will be assessed by one or more assessments to the value of 4,000 words. At the end of the programme, students will submit a 12,000 word (max) Management Dissertation.
