Our department offers a dedicated GIT exam preparation session for GCE A/L students, designed to help them excel in the General Information Technology (GIT) subject. This free session covers essential topics, exam techniques, and provides valuable practice to boost students’ confidence and readiness. Led by knowledgeable instructors, the session ensures that students have a solid grasp of key concepts and are well-prepared to achieve outstanding results in their GIT exams.

Career Guidance Sessions offered by DDL are designed to help students explore a wide range of career options, with a particular focus on ICT pathways. Conducted by expert resource personnel in the filed these sessions provide valuable insights into various fields, helping students understand the skills, opportunities, and qualifications needed for success in both general careers and the growing ICT sector. Our department will be organizing Inter-School Hackathon Competitions, providing students with an exciting opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and solve real-world problems using technology. This initiative fosters problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity, empowering students to apply their ICT and entrepreneurial skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. By developing innovative solutions and exploring emerging technologies, participants will enhance their technological and analytical skills, gaining the ability to approach challenges from a “third-eye” perspective. Our department provides special sessions on Entrepreneurship aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among students and equipping them with practical skills for success. These sessions are designed to support Entrepreneurship Circles and ICT Clubs in schools, offering insights into starting and managing ventures, fostering innovation, and applying technology in business. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, we inspire students to think creatively and develop skills that will shape them as future leaders in the digital economy.

“SchoolTools” is an ICT programme developed with international standards, designed for students from Grades 1 to 9. The programme includes built-in software for practice and hands-on experience, ensuring that students gain valuable skills. Currently in progress in several schools across the country, SchoolTools also offers free training for teachers, equipping them with the knowledge and resources needed to deliver high-quality ICT education. With access to essential software and learning materials, the initiative empowers educators and enhances the learning experience for students at all levels.

ICT Awareness Programme aims to educate both teachers and students about critical topics in technology, guided by experienced subject experts. Topics covered include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Economy, the Internet of Things (IoT), New Trends in ICT, and more. These sessions are designed to provide valuable insights into the latest developments in the tech world, empowering educators to integrate these advancements into their teaching and helping students stay informed about the ever-evolving landscape of technology.

We organize exciting ICT competitions, including hackathons and IoT innovation challenges, to engage students from across the country.
