The AWS Cloud Club at IIT is a student-led community officially recognized by the Informatics Institute of Technology in June 2026, in affiliation with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The club brings together students passionate about cloud computing to learn, build, and grow together through hands-on workshops, certification study groups, and industry engagement.
Through certification study groups, technical workshops, hands-on cloud labs, guest lectures, and industry engagement, the club supports students in exploring AWS technologies, earning professional certifications, and connecting with the wider technology community.
Objectives:
To build a strong cloud computing community within IIT
To support students in achieving AWS certifications and industry-recognized credentials
To provide hands-on exposure to cloud technologies through workshops, study groups, and projects
To connect students with AWS professionals, mentors, and the wider tech industry
To help at least 20-30% of graduating students achieve AWS certification, and to build a community that continues to thrive beyond current leadership
