IIT Toastmasters Club

The IIT Toastmasters Club is affiliated with Toastmasters International, a worldwide non-profit educational organisation that fosters leadership and communication through its global network of clubs. Chartered in 2014, IIT Toastmasters falls under Area 2, Division C of District 82.

In today’s competitive world, academic qualifications alone are not enough. To succeed, one must also possess soft skills and self-confidence to navigate challenges and thrive in diverse environments. The IIT Toastmasters Club provides a supportive space where students develop these critical skills, overcome stage fright, and gain the confidence to excel. Members support one another, share ideas openly, and grow together as better versions of themselves.

The club’s excellence is reflected in its accolades. IIT Toastmasters has earned the President’s Distinguished status, the highest recognition awarded by Toastmasters International, for five consecutive years. Additionally, the club was honoured with the Golden Club Award, the highest recognition awarded by District 82, in the year 2020/21.

Mission: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
