IIT is proud to announce that it will host the
3rd International Conference on Sustainable Education 2026 (ICSE 2026)
on 5 August 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in collaboration with
INTI International University. The conference will be conducted in
hybrid mode, enabling both physical and virtual participation from academics,
researchers, educators, policymakers, postgraduate students, and industry professionals worldwide.
As a globally connected higher education institution, IIT continues to strengthen
its international academic presence through research, innovation, industry collaboration, and
international conferences focused on sustainable development and future-ready education.
The theme of ICSE 2026 is
“Reimagining Inclusive and Future-Ready Education: Innovations, Technologies, and Transformative Practices.”
The conference will provide an international platform for discussions on sustainable education,
educational innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in education, and inclusive
learning practices aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly
SDG 4 – Quality Education.
Hosting ICSE 2026 further demonstrates IIT’s commitment to
advancing higher education, international research collaboration, and innovation-driven learning.
The conference will bring together researchers, academics, education leaders, and professionals
from universities and institutions across Asia and beyond to exchange ideas, share research
findings, and build long-term academic partnerships.
Through international conferences such as ICSE 2026, IIT continues
to promote world-class research, support digital transformation in education, expand international
university partnerships, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and position Colombo as an
emerging hub for global academic conferences.
ICSE 2026 will provide participants with opportunities to present original research
related to sustainable education and educational innovation. Selected papers presented at the
conference will have opportunities for publication in SCOPUS-indexed journals and conference
proceedings, increasing the international visibility and research impact of participating
authors and institutions.
By hosting ICSE 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, IIT
contributes to strengthening the country’s growing reputation as a destination for international
