IIT together with Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, UK offers this 2-year part-time Master’s degree in Business Analytics.
The course is designed to equip students with an understanding of state-of-the-art methods and tools to solve any big data business challenges. It will also help managers to select the appropriate software tools for such scenarios.
This Master’s degree course offers extensive training in Business Analytics technology and methods, providing the opportunity to upgrade existing skills to state-of-the-art in areas such as Web Mining, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science, NoSQL databases and Business Modelling techniques. The course has a strong research focus.
During the 2 years of the degree programme, the student will attend classes on Saturdays and one evening during the week.
Minimum Entry Requirements
G.C.E. O/L with Credit Passes for Mathematics and English.
G.C.E. A/L: Priority will be given to students with 3 Credit Passes OR above for main subjects in any stream.

After the call for applications, successful applicants will be invited to participate in written tests followed by interviews conducted by a panel of academic and business representatives. Once these two steps are successfully completed, the applicants are invited to participate in a 3-month induction programme at IIT campus to prepare them for the work / study programme that is to follow.
From the beginning, corporate sponsors are involved in the selection process to assure that the selected candidates fulfil their requirements.
Once the selection process is completed, the successful graduate, the sponsor and IIT will sign a Tri-Party-Agreement in which the monthly payment schedule for IIT’s fee, the stipend to the graduate and other details are specified. The contract will be for a period of 3 years in total (2 years work/study programme, 1-year work only) with the option of employment to be extended.
