The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT Campus), one of Sri Lanka’s leading higher education institutions in technology and business education, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC) on 7th May 2026 at the IIT City Campus, Colombo 03.
This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing industry-academia collaboration in Sri Lanka, with a shared vision to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, research excellence, and knowledge exchange. The collaboration aims to create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, startups, innovators, and industry stakeholders to work together in shaping the future innovation ecosystem of the country.
The MoU between IIT Campus and the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission reflects the growing importance of connecting higher education with industry-driven innovation.
