IIT Sri Lanka Launches Visionex Hackathon Colombo for School Students to Inspire Future Innovators

Held in the heart of Colombo, the Visionex Hackathon Colombo brought together talented young minds from schools to participate in an engaging and collaborative learning experience focused on technology, STEM education, coding, digital innovation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

The Visionex Hackathon for School Students reflects IIT’s commitment to inspiring young learners to develop future-ready skills and discover opportunities in the world of technology and digital transformation.

The Visionex Colombo Hackathon encouraged school students to collaborate in teams, generate innovative ideas, and address challenges using creativity and technology. Participants experienced an exciting environment designed to nurture leadership, communication, critical thinking, and innovation while gaining exposure to emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computing, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Digital Technologies.
