Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) successfully hosted the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Education 2026 (ICSE 2026) on 5 August 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in collaboration with INTI International University.
Conducted in a hybrid format, the conference brought together academics, researchers, educators, policymakers, postgraduate students, and industry professionals, providing a platform for meaningful discussions on the future of sustainable and inclusive education.
The successful hosting of ICSE 2026 further strengthened IIT’s commitment to international academic collaboration, research excellence, innovation, and the development of future-ready higher education.
ICSE 2026 was held under the theme:
“Reimagining Inclusive and Future-Ready Education: Innovations, Technologies, and Transformative Practices.”
The conference explored how education systems can evolve to meet emerging global challenges through innovation, technology, inclusivity, and sustainable practices.
Discussions and research presentations addressed areas closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education, highlighting the importance of accessible, equitable, and future-focused learning opportunities.
