The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) has achieved a significant milestone in its digital journey by earning three recognitions at the BestWeb.LK Awards 2026, highlighting the strength of IIT’s digital platforms, user experience, content, technical execution and continuous website development.
The recognitions were awarded to both the official IIT website, iit.ac.lk, and the VisioNEX website, visionex.iit.ac.lk, reflecting the collective contribution of IIT’s management, Marketing, Digital, Creative, IT and Digital and Distance Learning teams, together with developers, designers, content contributors and external technology partners.
The VisioNEX website received a Silver Award in the Educational Category, recognising the platform’s overall digital experience, functionality, content presentation and design.
VisioNEX also received recognition for Best Mobile User Experience, highlighting the importance placed on responsive design, usability and accessibility across mobile devices.
The official IIT website, iit.ac.lk, was awarded Bronze in the Best University & Higher Education Institute Website category, marking another important achievement in IIT’s ongoing digital transformation.
