IIT Regional Centre – Galle

IIT Regional Centre Galle has opened its doors for registering to programme from Foundation, degree to masters.

The centre will be conducting lectures at the moment for the foundation certificate in higher education in the pathway to Business or IT. On successful completion, the students will be transferred to the Business School or School of Computing in Colombo accordingly on the subject selected. If a student wishes to do their master’s, they can register at the Regional Centre Galle.

Students are able to register for any programme at Galle and any other requirement into their academic journey at IIT.

If a student has a desire to study overseas students can reach IIT global pathways. IIT has experienced individuals to help students from the initial university application to their visa process. Students can make the decision after the Foundation or at any point of the degree. We also have options for a master’s and P.h.D. .

Country options that are available for placements are United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, U.S.A. and the Netherlands.

Entering campus life is a new challenge. That’s why we’re here to help.

The IIT SRU department is the supporting arm for students transition into campus life. As there are many challenges when entering and during campus life, the SRU team will help students experience the best during their campus life.

Encouraging students to have a balance in their study life.

Engaging in sports students can benefit a well-balanced lifestyle. Involved in physical activities will help students reduce stress of exams and project submissions which will help them to focus and manage themselves.  Taking a sport on campus is not just taking part in an activity, on the long run students will enhance skills such as teamwork, advance communication, being target driven individuals and focus on strategy for achievement.

At IIT for each and every sport we have recruited a professional coaching team. Students are being given time schedules for practices and will be participating in sports representing IIT.

IIT is a campus with many clubs and societies for students to engage and those who gets involved will gain the opportunity to immerse themselves in areas of their interest, expand knowledge and network, and connect with like-minded individuals who share the same passion.
